Is Eastern Québec just for general education?
No, as a recognized Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS) Centre, we have different options – general education, vocational training and language courses.

How can I decide if a programme is right for me?

I am missing credits for my High School Diploma, what should I do?
Making an appointment with our Guidance Counsellor (call, 418 654-0537, extension 2830) is always a good starting point to get the information you need. But, if you have been out of school for a while, you might want to click on the Missing Credits tab to find out about a special service called SARCA which offers support and free information to help you complete your High School Diploma.
Do I have to be bilingual to study at Eastern Québec?
No it’s not necessary. Depending on which programme/course interests you, we will evaluate your level of English to see how we can help you. We know that if you do decide to study with us, your English will certainly improve!
How much does it cost to go to Eastern Québec?
There is a basic fee for administration of $50 per semester for all General Education students. All Professional Programme students and some language courses have an administration fee of $50.
General Education: there will be modules to buy. These can vary from $3 to $30 Professional Programmes: fees for materials vary depending on the programme.
Can I get financial help to go to Eastern Québec?
Students can either speak to our Social Services Officer, 418 688-8730, extension 3136 or follow this link to Loans and Bursaries (MELS) online to find out more.
Bus number 25 stops outside the building on chemin Saint-Louis and provides a link to downtown, Québec; Place D'Youville. Bus 13, also available, is a useful link to University Laval and Boulevard Laurier.
